About

Tara Moreno is a nationally recognized trainer, speaker, and founder of Green Tara Holistics and the Recovery Alliance Project (RAP). She specializes in integrative healing practices that bridge behavioral health, peer recovery support, and holistic wellness. Tara is available to provide trainings, keynote presentations, and workshops throughout the United States and Canada.

Over the course of her career, Tara has trained nearly 100 practitioners in Acudetox across multiple states, equipping behavioral health professionals, peer recovery coaches, and community organizations with the skills to deliver trauma-informed, accessible care. She is also a certified trainer and instructor in Recovery ReikiĀ® and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), helping organizations integrate evidence-informed complementary practices into recovery and wellness programming.

Drawing on her lived experience in recovery, leadership in nonprofit and behavioral health systems, and years of professional training experience, Tara creates engaging, practical learning environments that prepare participants to confidently implement holistic, person-centered approaches in their organizations and communities.

The June 2026 Hybrid NADA Acudetox Training at Saginaw Valley State University received overwhelmingly positive evaluations. Participants consistently gave the training the highest ratings for instructional quality, organization, clinical instruction, and the overall learning environment. Evaluations highlighted Tara's clinical expertise, trauma-informed teaching style, integration of lived and professional experience, meaningful opportunities for hands-on practice and reflection, and her ability to foster both personal healing and professional growth.
